ImseVimse is a Swedish company founded in 1988 by Marie Walleberg. Selling in over 60 countries, with a passion for sustainable living and consumption, we provide functional and eco-friendly textile products for children and women worldwide. ImseVimse AB’s head office is based in Sweden. We pay Swedish taxes and all pricing is in Swedish kroners (SEK) and includes the 25% VAT.
Orders are usually handled and shipped within 1 to 5 business days following order confirmation. Delivery time varies depending on country and courier service. Additional business days may be required for delivery during peak selling periods. Once your order has left our warehouse, the responsibility for delivery times is transferred to the shipping carrier.
We use PostNord and FedEx. If you order fits into an envelope it will be sent by PostNord (regular Post) otherwise it will be sent by FedEx. Please note that name on your order should be the same as the one on your form of identification at pick up. We will not be held responsible for any failure to ship, or delay in shipping during circumstances that are caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural and unavoidable catastrophes or strikes.
Its ok to change your mind
Make sure to review your order before confirming, once confirmed and payment has been made you have agreed with our terms and conditions and agreed to your purchase. We can however add products or make changes to your order, as long as it hasn’t left our warehouse. Once it’s been shipped, we suggest that you place a new order if you want to add products. If you’ve changed your mind and want to make a return, we will refund the value of your returned items less the shipping and handling costs to the original form of payment used for the purchase, provided that they haven’t been used and that all labels and tags are attached. Please allow 3-5 business days for the refund to show on your account. Our return policy is 14 days from receiving your order.
Changing your delivery address
If you have submitted an incorrect shipping address it is your responsibility to contact our customer service to make the change. We want to get your order to you as soon as possible, because of this it is crucial that you double-check addresses to prevent errors and delivery delays. We will not be held responsible for any failure to ship, or delay in shipping during circumstances that are caused by you submitting an incorrect address.
We charge a fee of 100 SEK if a package is not collected within 14 days. This is to cover return freight and any costs that may incur when a package is left uncollected. The postal office will keep you order for 14 days before returning it to us.
Please note that if you regret a purchase and want to return the product, you have to pick it up before you can return it. This can usually be done at the same time and place.
Return and Exchange policy
In accordance with the Swedish Distansavtalslagen, you have the right to regret your purchase and return products without having to state why. This must be done within 14 days from receiving your products. If you regret your purchase (full or parts of it), it is your responsibility to contact our customer service before the 14 days expire.
Make sure to return your products to us within 14 days from the day you notified our customer service. Our return document must be completed, and included with the return, or a note stating your order number and full contact information. We reserve the right to not pay for shipping fees when returning, and we leave it to you to choose a carrier of your choice. Remember that you are responsible for the product/ products until they are returned to us, so we recommend that all returns be sent with a traceable carrier.
Sometimes the size doesn’t fit, or you have second thoughts on a print you chose. No worries just fill in the return document and state new size, and/or new print and we will gladly exchange it for you. There are no additional shipping or handling fees when exchanging.
Once we have received your return, depending on whether you wish to cancel the entire purchase or parts of the purchase, or change the product / products to another, we will refund the value of the returned products. Please note that price reductions may occur if the products have been used or damaged.
If you received the wrong product/ products or for some reason they are damaged, please contact our customer service immediately. Make sure to get an approval before returning the product/ products, we reserve the right to deny returns that haven’t been approved. We only accept claims that are referring to manufacturing defects or faults that the product/ products had before you received/ used it. It is important that you contact our customer service immediately, 2 months is considered a reasonable time for notification.
As soon as you notify us about your claim, we will create a ticket that will be attached to your original order number. We then ask that you return the product/ products with a brief note on what you consider is wrong with it. Our production team will then evaluate the claim and get back to you.
1.2 Approved claim
If your claim is approved, we reserve the right to make an attempt to repair it, if that can’t be done we will replace it with an equal product. If the product has been discontinued, we will make a full refund, including all shipping and handling costs.
1.3 Denied claim
If our production team denies your claim the product/ products will be sent back to you in its original state.

We believe in the quality and function of our products! All products with warranty marking will give you a guarantee of at least 2 to 10 years. The warranty period applies from the product’s original purchase date, which is stated on your receipt (this only applies to products purchased after 2018-06-01).
The warranty refers to material or manufacturing defects, i.e. such as an error which existed at the time of purchase. In order for the warranty to kick in you have to have proof of purchase; such as the original receipt or a copy of it, and that you have followed our care instructions for that particular product. Make sure to always read care instructions before use.
In the event of a claim covered by a warranty, we reserve the right to first attempt to repair the product/ products. If that is not possible, we will offer a new one or change to an equivalent product of the same value. If there is no equivalent product, we will refund the purchase price and any shipping and handling charges you have had in connection with your warranty case.
We only accept products that have been purchased through our websites. If the purchase was made in a store or on a retailer’s website, the warranty case must be handled by the place of purchase, which is stated on your sales receipt.
ImseVimse follows the Swedish Consumer Purchase Act, therefore, as a consumer, you have in addition to our warranty a statutory warranty for 3 years relating to original manufacturing defects.
In the event of any dispute arising out of a purchase from us we refer to The National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN).. For dispute resolution for cross the border purchases, we refer to the EU Commission’s website, ec.europa.eu/odr.
